Collin Friesen

Collin was born in a prairie town in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. He attended Freeman Junior College in South Dakota and the University of Manitoba. For the last nine years, Collins has been a radio and television reporter for global Television's affiliate station in Winnipeg, as well as for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Calgary. As a freelance reporter, he has traveled to Germany, Australia and, most recently, Rwanda. Collins is currently finishing his MFA in Screenwriting at AFI.
