Colby Oliver
Colby graduated from San Diego State University with an offer to work camera for the San Diego Padres in-house camera crew.
Hard work, skillful operating, and an easy-going attitude, opened doors for Colby to work in the world of sports broadcast television.
He has lensed camera for Fox-Sports and ESPN. After working under the guidance of cinematographer Cheeco Varese (A.M.C.) on HBO’’s “True Blood”, Colby committed himself to narrative filmmaking.
In 2009, Colby was asked to join the American Film Institute’’s incoming class of 28 internationally selected cinematographers.
