Christy Rogers

Christy currently serves as Managing Director at RG Tecq, a LA based Internet

Security Firm that provides specialized Internet security solutions and the

management of e-commerce and network products and services including,

proprietary encryption technology, network and data security protection, and

distribution of intellectual properties, credit card, ATM and smart card

information. She spends her free time consulting independent film producers,

including budget formation and schedule design.

Christy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and Film and began

her career in the advertising industry, where she managed media schedules and

marketed Web sites, in the early stages of the Internet. She went on to work at

Ogilvy and Mather, Hawaii in the Broadcasting division, where her interests were

peeked working on high-budget television commercials from pre-production to

post. After a year of dedication to the Industry, she landed a producing job with

one of the islands top commercial directors and went on to win an Addy Award of

Merit (Pele) for her first producing project, ONE ARCHER LANE. As a producer

and line producer, Christy has worked with clients such as Sprint, Kraft General

Foods. Central Pacific Bank, Polynesian Cultural Center and Molokai Ranch and

has produced and directed several of her own short stories and music videos.
