Christopher John Williamson

A native New Yorker, Chris studied English Literature at the University of Hull in the UK and graduated with a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY. Chris received an Advanced Diploma in Screen from APA International Film School in Sydney, Australia. There he wrote and directed two short films, WARRA WARRA and JOY. Screened internationally and an official selection to several film festivals, JOY won the ACS New South Wales Highly Commended Award in 2005. During his first year at AFI, Chris directed three short films — THE SANDBOX, DANDELION, and EVERYTHING IN AZURE
