Christopher Eckerdt
Christopher graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR with a double major in Communication and Literature, focusing in narrative film. He has studied film and production design at the Northwest Film Center while in Portland and at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He worked on several features in Portland in a number of capacities, including DOUBLEWIDE and ISOLATION (Playground Films).
More recently, he has worked as an Art Director in New York on a feature and several shorts for Ideal Productions, including LOSER'S LOUNGE, which was shown at several film festivals in the New York area, including the Williamsburg Film Fest. At American Film Institute, he has completed 7 films as Art Director, and 3 films as Production Designer including a six room period mansion. Most recently he spent the summer working as an assistant art director for the upcoming film HOLLYWOOD UNTITLED.
