Described as a ""wunderkind director"" by the New York Times for his work in theater, Charlie Polinger is a graduate of Yale University, where he was awarded the Sledge Prize for Performing Arts. He has directed a diverse range of projects, including the folk-rock musical, ""Independents,"" which premiered off-Broadway at the NYC Fringe Festival and was awarded Best Overall Production and listed as a New York Times Critics Pick. He has directed music videos for Marian Hill, Great Caesar, Stabwounds, Julius, The Brazilian Johnsons, and Kaerhart. In 2013, he was named a Future of Storytelling Fellow by Melcher Media, awarded to ""young, exceptionally talented artists, technologists, filmmakers, creatives, innovators, and/or social advocates who have demonstrated a fearlessne s to tell stories in unconventional ways.""
