Céline Layous

Céline Layous is a graduate of USJ-IESAV Beirut, with a BA in Performing Arts. Her senior short film LAST NIGHTS OF BEIRUT screened in Europe and the Middle East, with an honorary mention at the 2015 NDU International Film Festival. For four years, she served as a focus puller on numerous, award-winning short films, recently WHITE NOISE for Cannes Factory 2017. Since 2012, she worked as a camera operator on various formats in the MENA region, mostly with collective channels such as Beirut Jam Sessions. Originally from Lebanon, Celine now pursues a career in narrative film making, and continues to develop her skills as a Cinematography Fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles.
