Catherine Goldschmidt

Catherine Goldschmidt’’s official career in cinematography started with shooting the live-action sequences of the Slamdance award winning short “Egg” in 2005. Since then, Catherine has received her BA in Film Studies from Wesleyan University and her MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute.  More importantly, however, she has shot everything from narrative to non-fiction to experimental to commercial works on both film and video. Currently, she resides in San Francisco where she is working in the camera department of the new NBC television show “Trauma”, but plans to move to New York City to shoot a feature this winter.
