Carlos Garza

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Carlos graduated with honors from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin, where he also worked as International Competition Director of the Cinematexas Film Festival. In Mexico City, he was a Founding Member and Programmer of the Morelia International Film Festival from 2003 to 2011. In the intervening years he has also been World Cinema Competition Coordinator at the Sundance Film Festival and worked extensively in journalism and publicity for independent films with David Magdael and Associates in Los Angeles. He is currently completing his master's degree in Producing at the American Film Institute Conservatory.
