Caleb Tou

Unlike most people, Caleb fell into filmmaking at a rather late age. He grew up playing sports until developing an interest in still photography at the age of 16. He studied four years under the close mentorship of John Leblanc, Michael Chapman, A.S.C., and Thomas Ackerman, A.S.C. at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. At the same time, he worked a few years in the North Carolina film industry on narrative work, music videos, and commercials. He served as camera PA on Peter Bogdanovich’’s feature film, SQUIRRELS TO THE NUTS. TITLE FIGHT, a short film he shot premiered at the 2014 River Run International Film Festival. He spent two months last summer volunteering and filming short documentary films in Indonesia.
