Brandon Hess
Brandon has a contagious passion for filmmaking. His childhood dream of directing movies has carried him through Penn State University, to the American Film Institute where he recently graduated. He wrote and directed SARAH, which went on to win the Best Short in Children’’s Advocacy at the 2010 Artivist Film Festival. That same year his touching piece, HONOR: PASS IT ON, won the Great American Video Contest, and WALKING MIRACLES won the Best Short Documentary at the Phoenix International Christian Film Festival.
He wrote and directed the short film, FIRST IN FLIGHT, and currently has a feature version in development. Brandon sees film as more than an entertaining escape from life. Instead, he believes this art medium can make powerful, positive contributions to the world we share.
