Beth Van Dam

Beth earned her BFA in Painting, Media Arts, and Performance from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. From there, her career spanned from event design and video production to new media collaborative work. As an artist-in-residence at the Walker Art Center, Beth developed art/activism programs and installations with The Revolutionary Party, a new media-based collaborative she co-founded. Her production design career started in music videos. Since relocating to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI), she has production designed several short films, commercials, and music videos, worked on some features, and discovered Kundalini Yoga. At AFI, she was awarded the Jack Oakie Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Production Design.
