
Azra Mehic
Azra studied Industrial Design at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has an extensive background in film, theater and television. Mehic began her eleven-year career in film as a costume designer. She later re-oriented her education and professional engagement toward film and television production. Among her credits are FRAME FOR THE PICTURE OF MY HOMELAND, PAYCHECK, IT’’S HARD TO BE NICE, BARE SKIN, REGULATOR, CIRKUS COLUMBIA, REVERSE, CLEVER GIRLS, FRIGIDANCE, THE TICKET COLLECTOR, SNOVI and many other features, shorts, television shows, commercials and theatrical plays. Short film TANTO that Azra produced was selected for the AFI Visual Essay Showcase and her short SNOVI was nominated for the 38th Student Academy Award ®.
