Anton Gurevich

Anton Gurevich

Anton Gurevich immigrated to the US from Ukraine – then part of the Soviet Union - at the age of seven. Growing up in a Jewish home in New York City encouraged a real sense of individual fantasy from a young age, and Anton fell in love with painting and photography early in his studies. His varied cultural background and his family’’s constant resettling gave rise to an extraordinary taste for humor, family values, and artistic expression.

It was in college that Anton was drawn to the cinema. Cinematography: to be the eye, the creator of the image, the light coordinator and mood expurgator. To be the conduit of the human senses. That is his passion, and he chose to fine-tune these skills at the AFI Conservatory.
