Annick Jaëgy
Annick was born in Germany, has a dual French and Swiss citizenship, and has worked and lived in 67 countries. She holds a Master’’s degree in Management from SKEMA Business School in France and a MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute. She started her career at Twentieth Century Fox in Germany, working on marketing campaigns from TITANIC to STAR WARS – EPISODE 1, among others. She has also worked as an international reporter, and spearheaded the Africa events division for Euromoney Conferences, while consulting for media companies. In 2014, Annick decided to return to her main passion: film. Since then, she has produced over a dozen narrative projects (short film, musical, commercial, music video), including the AFI Directing Workshop for Women short film GUBAGUDE KO, starring Academy Award Winner Mahershala Ali (MOONLIGHT, HOUSE OF CARDS). Her AFI Thesis MACKENZIE has been selected and awarded in various festivals.
