Anita Bloom

Anita Bloom recently graduated from the American Film Institute's

Directing program. Prior to attending AFI, Anita graduated from Chapman

University, where her first project, PANDORA'S BOX, received their Intro to Visual Storytelling Award. SOFTLY AS I LEAVE YOU, her final project produced at

Chapman, screened at film festivals and received several awards, including the

Audience Choice Award for Best Dramatic Short (Film Fest New Haven), and the

Mole-Richardson Award for Production/Innovation (Angelus Awards). Prior to

filmmaking, Anita studied acting with Sanford Meisner in NYC and pursued a

career as an actress/dancer.
