Anelisa Torruella

Anelisa was born in Miami, Florida and lived many years in Puerto Rico with her family. Since she was young she was always interested in the arts and storytelling enrolling in a performing arts school to study theater and making short films in her spare time. She is a recent graduate of Miami International University of Art and Design, with a BFA in Film and Digital Production. She won third place for best film with her short musical, ROXIE, at the 2010 Student Film Festival of the University. She has interned in the art department and production department of the production house Venevision, which produces and records Hispanic soap operas and talk shows, like QUIÉN TIENE LA RAZÓN and CASOS DE FAMILIA while designing 10 short films. She worked as a video production specialist in Atlas Air, where she was in charge of the production and art direction of commercials and training videos for the airline.
