Andrew Sears Baris

Andrew is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Film. Prior to graduating, An-drew studied photojournalism and transitioned into film after he worked on the set of The House Bunny (Sony Pictures, 2008) for renowned cinematographer Shelly Johnson. Andrew then worked freelance for four years in New York City on high profile commercial campaigns for the likes of Samsung, AXE and eBay as well as other independent projects. Prior to starting at the AFI, Andrew was awarded Runner-up for Best Short Documentary in the Tribeca Film Festival with We Live This, a film that he shot, edited, and produced.
