Andrew Schwartz
ANDREW SCHWARTZ (producer) graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with Distinction. Before finding his way to filmmaking, Schwartz performed for the stage, most notably as R.P. McMurphy in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’’S NEST, conducted an ethnographic study of gang tattoos in Los Angeles, and organized several student-labor demonstrations in support of higher working standards for University employees. He worked as a freelance line producer for several AFI thesis films, including the Student Academy Award® nominated WAY IN RYE, and the Clermont-Ferrand official selection NI-NI. He has produced several short films, including the upcoming THE WOLF AND THE WAYFARER (2014), and a feature film, 100% OFF: A RECESSION-ERA ROMANCE (2011).
