Andrew Hines

Andrew Hines graduated from the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he recieved a BA in English with a concentration in biology and environmental science. In 2005, Andrew started the production company Urban Peace Division, and has been producing and directing short films and music videos in both Canada and the US. Andrew's short film The Changing Tides was chosen as one of the top ten films in the Camera Verté Festival, in 2005. Later, he wrote and directed This One Night, a short film about a carjacking experience he had. The film was showcased at the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax in 2007. While at AFI, Andrew has focused on both writing and directing his own work. He has recently finished his first feature film script, set for production in 2010.
