Amy Whittenberger

Amy Whittenberger received her B.A. in theatre at Florida State University before transplanting to Chicago in 2006. She founded and was the Co-Artistic Director of The Tympanic Theatre Compa- ny where her work and direction were featured in many subsequent productions before she moved on to help found The Consortium Project Theatre Company, where she served as their Literary Manager. Amy has written over fifteen stage-plays that have accrued production credits in Chicago, Texas, Florida, and California. A proud graduate of Chicago’’s Second City Conservatory, Amy is currently pursuing her Masters Degree as an AFI screenwriting fellow focusing on comedy, and is entering into her second year as a Teaching Assistant.
