Amos Kamil

Amos Kamil

Amos H. Kamil is a recent graduate of the American Film Institute's

Screenwriting program where he received the Richard Levinson

Award for his screenplay ""Wild Men."" While at the A.F.I. he co-

wrote and produced ""Let's Do Lunch"" for which he received

Panavision's New Filmmakers Grant.

Mr. Kamil is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he

was awarded the Marion Allbee Non-Fiction Writing Award for

his thesis ""On the Promise of the Promised Land.""

His other feature screenplays include ""City of Peace,"" ""King of

the Corner"" and he is currently working on a black comedy

entitled ""Sons in the Basement."" The main characters in

""Helicopter"" are based on his play ""Number One"" which was

workshopped at the Chicago Actors Ensemble.

Mr. Kamil is represented by Bob Wunsch at the Richland,

Wunsch, and Hohman Agency.
