Alyson Feltes
Alyson Feltes is an Executive Producer with Atlantis Films Limited, responsible for the creative
and financial structures of a number of series, MOW's and mini-series at various stages of
development and production Among other series which she is actively developing, Alyson is
Co-creator and Executive Producer of a new children's series presently titled Fast Forward
which is in development with The Disney Channel and the CBC.
Immediately before joining Atlantis, Alyson worked with fellow Canadian, director Daniel Petrie
Sr. on Paramount Pictures feature film, Lassie, filmed in Virginia
Prior to working at Paramount, Alyson was enrolled at the American Film Institute (AFI) where
she was one of eight producing candidates selected to participate in the Masters' Program as a
Producing Fellow. Her thesis film, Underwater, which she co-wrote, produced (and completed
editing at me Canadian Film Centre), has been screened at numerous festivals worldwide and
recently won the Gold Plaque for Best Short Film at the 1994 Chicago Film Festival
At the LA-based AFI, she produced a number of films, including the short drama Oka, starring
Tantoo Cardinal and Michelle St. John, which was based on a story written by her.
Prior to her studies at the American Film Institute, Alyson was an entertainment lawyer at
Cassels Brock & Blackwell in Toronto She was also Acting Legal Counsel for the Ontario Film
Development Corporation for a period prior to going to Los Angeles.
