Allison Holmes

Allison began her career as an actress, appearing in theatrical productions, commercials and feature films, including THE HANDMAID'S TALE, in which she played the role of June. She is an accomplished playwright whose work has been produced in New York. While working as a research assistant to author and journalist Richard Reeves, she began writing screenplays. She is a correspondent for Money Magazine. She earned her BA in English and Theater at Duke University and her MFA at AFI this year. She is the 1997 recipient of the Lois Peyser Scholarship.
