Alla Volkova

Born in Tomsk, Russia, Alla Volkova received a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in cinematography. She worked on many student and professional projects including a short film Wrestling Match, which played at Sundance Film Festival. While in college Alla worked as a producer for the Development Department at BYU Broadcasting. During her senior year she directed a short film titled La Chevelure that took second place at the LDS Film Festival. For two years she worked as a head editor for a documentary series Road to Zion. In the last two years Alla directed four short films as a part of AFI curriculum.
