Alice Danielle D. Probst

An Arlington, Virginia native, Danielle describes herself as an organizer and people-person. Her interest in art began while working as a stage hand, lighting technician and property mistress for community theater. She later became a stage manager and box office sales person at a 350 seat Equity dinner theater. She studied photography and worked as a photographers assistant. She lived in Berlin for three years where she taught English and worked as an au pair. Danielle earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked as a performance artist, singer and critic for alternative arts magazine. In 1991, she began a career in fundraising for arts and social service organizations doing grant writing, special events production and major gifts solicitation.
