Alejandro de León
ProducerAlejandro was born and raised in Guatemala. He received a BA degree in Telecommunications at Indiana University from 1999-2003. He interned, in his junior year, at the marketing division of the Home Entertainment branch of Sony Pictures in Culver City. He then created an urban lifestyle/city guide magazine called Taxi. After four years of successful operation, he decided to follow his life-long fascination with film and pursue an MFA degree. In 2008 he enjoyed a six-month tenure interning for the renowned NY film production company Tribeca Productions and film sales company Cinetic Media. In the summer of 2009, he began a development internship at Relativity Media, known for movies like “The Fighter” and "A Serious Man". Alejandro graduated from the American Film Institute with an MFA in Producing. In his time there he produced three short films and worked as Production Manager on several others.
