Alan Freeman

Alan Freeman works in Theater. He has acted or directed over 125 plays, musicals and operas at theaters such as the Mark Taper Forum, San Diego’’s Old Globe, The Western Opera Theater and the Occidental Theater Festival, where he is the Artistic Director. Alan has written two full-length plays, including WALL SCALING, which opened to favorable notices last year. His short film, WAR SERMON won a bronze medal at the Atlanta Film Festival and was nominated for a local Emmy. Currently, he is on leave from Occidental College in Los Angeles where he is Professor of Theater. He belongs to SAG, AEA and ASCAP.
