If you've already started watching Glow, Netflix's latest show, the whole concept and premise of the show might seem more than a little far-fetched.
As it turns out, it's actually got a pretty solid basis in reality. Back in 1985, there really was a TV show called G.L.O.W that featured a number of soap actresses, athletes and misfits and it was every bit as outrageous as the Netflix series makes it out to be.
The pilot episode of G.L.O.W is available on YouTube and while it's unapologetically '80s and cheesy as hell, it's also weird, crazy and funny - just like the Netflix show.
