The couple were on Netflix's most recent (and uhm, chaotic) dating show 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On'.
For many of us, Colby and Madlyn's relationship was one of the rockiest we've seen on the show — and that's really saying something. While Madlyn was nonstop giving out and rolling her eyes at what was supposed to be the man she loves, Colby, her fella, was off shifting another girl that wasn't even in the experiment.
So it's safe to say that when, in the finale episode, Colby proposed and Madlyn said yes, people were shocked. But we didn't even get a minute to compose ourselves before he was asking "will we do it now?" as if a wedding was a load of laundry and not, in fact, a wedding.
So when Madyln and Colby weren't sat on the couches with the other contestants when the Reunion episode was up, we assumed for a brief moment that order had resumed, and they were back at each other's necks.
What happened next was shocking — but to be honest, in this rollercoaster of a show, more fool us for leaving ourselves open to more shock. Madlyn and Colby walked out from behind the scenes arm in arm, with Madlyn about 7 months pregnant. And she looked absolutely great, to be honest.
Collectively, we need a regroup to digest it all. So, understandably, we're heading to Twitter to breathe, or rather, exhale words, from the moment the pair decided to get married.
To the moment they stepped out in the reunion.
Some people even have conspiracy theories.
Or are left hungry for more of the same drama we got from the couple in episodes 1 through 8. Consistently.
Vanessa Lachey was right when she said Madlyn is glowing because she is. She looks so much happier than she did throughout the season. Unanswered questions and utter bewilderment or not, we're happy for the pair of them.
