It's hard to know exactly what the producers are driving at in this trailer for 'The Crown' and its fourth season.
By all accounts, the tone is definitely one that's foreboding, and one that seems to suggest some seriously dark times are ahead for the Royal Family. Indeed, the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles was not all that it seemed in the benefit of hindsight.
On top of that, you have Margaret Thatcher - played by Gillian Anderson, no less - entering the scene, and all the horrors that she brought with her. On top of that, there is the fractious relationship between Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth, the dynamic between Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, and the nation itself and Queen Elizabeth.
All in all, it's a lot of argy-bargy going on. The new season lands on Netflix on November 15th, and we'll have a review of the full season before then.
