Amazon Prime have revealed (via EW) that there will be three new additions to the cast of 'The Boys'.
'The Boys' season 3 is currently shooting and the new additions will all be playing superheroes.
It was previously announced that Jensen Ackles ('Supernatural') is joining the series to play Soldier Boy. We've even had a first look at him in character.
Joining him and the rest of the cast are Sean Patrick Flannery, Nick Wechsler, and Miles Gaston Villanueva.
Flannery is known for his roles in 'The Boondock Saints' and 'The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones'.
He'll be playing Gunpowder in 'The Boys' and having a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu may come into play.
Nick Wechsler's prior roles include 'Roswell High' and 'Revenge'. He'll play Blue Hawk.
Miles Gaston Villanueva's ('Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders') role is Supersonic, who is rumoured to be an ex-boyfriend of Starlight (Erin Moriarty).
No details have been offered regarding the characters or what their superhero powers are. These are original creations, not found in 'The Boys' comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
They could be members of Payback, who Soldier Boy was a member of and who were reportedly "the Seven before the Seven", but only time will tell.
Who else can't wait for the return of 'The Boys'?
The first two seasons are streaming on Amazon Prime now.
