'Stranger Things' season 3 hit Netflix on July 4th and it's all anyone's been talking about (aside from 'Love Island').
And things have gotten stranger still (see what we did there?) since an eagle-eyed viewer spotted this likeness.
Actor and comedian Patton Oswalt, whose most recent credit was 'The Secret Life of Pets 2' and David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper on the Netflix show, share a bromance that the public just love.
In fact Oswalt even orchestrated a dinner between Harbour and Ron Perlman to cancel a feud between the actors over the recent 'Hellboy' reboot (which was rubbish anyway).
Tweeter @JustARealDummy may have just found out why Oswalt and Harbour get along so well. It's because they are the real life Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson from 'Stranger Things'.
He shared a picture of the two from their youth and the likeness could not be more uncanny.
@DavidKHarbour and @pattonoswalt ‘s friendship makes so much sense when you realize they are grown up Steve & Dustin pic.twitter.com/v2R8yejLOp

People were just loving the comparison.

In an interview with Shannon Purser (who plays Barb in the series) at the San Diego Comic Con 2017, Harbour explained the origins of his and Oswalt's friendship:
"When the show came out he tweeted something out about it, and I’ve loved this guy for years. He’s such a big ol’ nerd, and the fact that he could nerd out about our show meant to me that we had kind of arrived. I just love that guy, I just think he’s so damn funny. When he tweeted something out about the show and he followed me on Twitter, I immediately texted him. So we’ve been doing this back-and-forth about our love for each other."
Isn't that just the sweetest?
