We can't move for the sheer amount of upcoming productions that are being announced in the past number of weeks - which is great to see.
The latest BBC and Netflix TV series thriller comes in the form of Steven Moffat's 'Inside Man'. Formidable actors Stanley Tucci and David Tennant have been cast in the miniseries.
Tucci has played a number of scene-stealing characters in the past, such as Caesar Flickermann in the 'Hunger Games' franchise and 'The Devil Wears Prada', and other meatier roles in 'Spotlight' and recent drama 'Supernova'.
David Tennant has been on our screen in various notable acting roles over the years, including 'Doctor Who', 'Jessica Jones', 'Harry Potter', and 'Staged'.
Both actors will be joined by two female leads for 'Inside Man'. Dolly Wells from 'The Pursuit Of Love' and 'Can You Ever Forgive Me?', and Lydia West from Channel 4's 'It’s A Sin' and HBO's 'Years And Years' will also star.
According to the BBC, the four-part mini-series: "Follows a prisoner on death row in the US, a Vicar in a quiet English town, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar, as they cross paths in the most unexpected way."
BAFTA and Emmy award-winning writer Steven Moffat, known for 'Sherlock' and 'Doctor Who' will write the script of the series alongside his wife Sue Vertue. The series will premiere on BBC One and Netflix in Ireland and the UK.
'Sherlock' director Paul McGuigan is on board to helm the series, with Alex Mercer of 'Doctor Who' producing. Filming is expected to get underway later this year.
