We've had 'Squid Game' the series and 'Squid Game: The Challenge' - and now Netflix are bringing a 'Squid Game' game to their subscribers next year.
The streaming giant made games available to users of their mobile app earlier this year, and are clearly branching out as they have more titles slated for 2024.
One of them is based in the world of 'Squid Game', which is really not surprising considering the enormous popularity of both the South Korean series in 2021 and the recent reality show based upon it.
Other new games planned for its 2024 roster include 'Sonic Mania Plus' and 'Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit', the sequel to its popular life sim 'Cozy Grove'.
A 'Rebel Moon' game set following the events of Zach Synder's forthcoming Netflix films 'Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire' and 'Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver' will also hit the streamer.
"By year’s end, we’ll have 86 games available —all included with every Netflix membership without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees," said Netflix's cice president of games Mike Verdu. "And with nearly 90 more games in development, we’re just getting started."
As for 'Squid Game'? Players will finally get a taste of games like 'Red Light, Green Light', 'Sugar Honeycombs', 'Marbles' and more - but without the risk of dying. Win-win all 'round.
