The Disney streamer is developing a whole new Marvel TV series.

As well as the already far in development new Marvel series for Disney+ such as 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier', ' Loki', and 'WandaVision' (which recently dropped an incredible trailer), there's yet another title coming our way which is set to star Nick Fury.

According to a number of sources, Samuel L. Jackson will be reprising his role as the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. (unless you've been watching the TV series 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' because then this will make no sense) in a new TV series which is in development over at Disney.

Now, we are not sure whether this TV series will still be a part of Marvel's Phase Four, or if indeed it might be part of the inevitable Phase Five of the superhero franchise in a few years time. Already included in Marvel's Phase Four are the aforementioned TV series on Disney+, as well as many more TV series and movies including a 'She-Hulk', 'Moon Knight' and 'Ms. Marvel' TV series, and 'Black Widow', 'Eternals', and 'Thor: Love and Thunder' movies.

According to Variety, the Sam Jackson/Nick Fury TV series has been greenlit with writer and executive producer Kyle Bradstreet attached to the project. Bradstreet has received acclaim for his involvement in the Rami Malek and Christian Slater TV series 'Mr. Robot'.

The character of Nick Fury has appeared on our screens since the post-credits scene on 'Iron Man', with his most recent post-credits appearance being in Sony's 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' in 2019. He also played the sidekick role in 'Captain Marvel' alongside Brie Larson. Expect more details on the new Marvel series for Disney+ in the near future.

Here's the trailer for 'WandaVision' in case you missed it earlier this week. It will be the first of the Marvel TV series to hit Disney+.
