Ewan McGregor is set to return to one of his most iconic roles - Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The series based on the Jedi knight is one of the many 'Star Wars' spin-off series in the works right now.
If you haven't already, fans of the franchise will want to get a Disney+ subscription if they want to enjoy the sci-fi content.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McGregor offered a wee update on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
Regarding when filming kicks off, he said: "Spring next year we start.
"I'm really excited about it.
"It's gonna be great, I think."
Obviously, the actor was unable to give any plot details.
But he did suggest it might only get a limited run.
When asked about a second season of the show, he answered: "As I understand, it's a standalone season.
"Who knows? We'll see."
McGregor played Kenobi in all three 'Star Wars' prequels - 'The Phantom Menace', 'Attack of the Clones' and 'Revenge of the Sith'.
As for another 'Star Wars' series fans can't wait for, 'The Mandalorian', season 2 debuts on Disney+ on October 30th.
