What with the success of The Joel McHale Show and David Letterman's My Next Guest..., it looks like Netflix is going further into the chatshow realm with an announcement yesterday evening that Norm Macdonald is joining the streaming service.
The series, which is called Norm Macdonald Has A Show, will be a 10-part series with a new celebrity guest for each episode. Not only that, David Letterman is involved as "location scout / creative partner" for the series and will likely crop up in a few skits as well.
There's no official start date, but the understanding is that it'll hit Netflix around 2019. Here's the supposed text exchange between Norm and Netflix chief Ted Sarandos.

In case you've no idea who Norm Macdonald is, here's him telling a joke on Conan. One, single, joke.
