Netflix's runaway romantic comedy sequel movie will debut in 2021.
In a bold move which definitely worked out in their favour (as pretty much every TV and movie production was halted over the past few months), it turns out that 'The Kissing Booth 3' was secretly shot while filming its predecessor.
The first entry in 'The Kissing Booth' franchise arrived on Netflix back in 2018, and went on to become one of the most-watching titles in the streaming service's arsenal. A sequel movie was obviously given the green light, and using their crystal ball in order to see what would undoubtedly be another hit (and a global pandemic), Netflix managed to film entries two and three back to back in secret.
The movies - both of which are currently in the Top 10 most-watched titles in Ireland - are based on the young adult novels by author Beth Reekles. The series follows the lives of Elle (Joey King) and Noah (Jacob Elordi), as they navigate their various teen love lives as they begin to leave high school life behind them.
Let's be honest, it's absolute trash - but it's become such a runaway hit for fans, that Netflix just had to give them what they wanted.
Here's a tease of what's to come in the final entry of the romantic comedy.
