The critically-acclaimed animation series is back on Netflix next month.
For those unfamiliar with the Netflix series, it's an adult anthology animation whereby each episode is self-contained in its own unique story. In season one, we got 18 episodes that showed off spectacular animation from creators and animators from around the world, all to do in some way with technology or robots. It really was a feast for the eyes, offering up a blend of some dark and action-packed animations as well as some light-hearted and touching ones. And so, we can expect much more of the same in 'Love, Death + Robots' Volume 2.
The series comes from creator and director Tim Miller, who also helmed the first series. Miller of course is well-versed in the adult comedy category, having directed Ryan Reynolds in 'Deadpool' and also the most recent 'Terminator' sequel movie 'Dark Fate'.
Joining him once again for this return to animation is David Fincher, who executive produces alongside Miller. Fincher directed 'Se7en', 'Fight Club', 'Gone Girl', and Netflix's 10 time Oscar-nominated 'Mank'.
Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen are also back on board, both of whom were executive producers on the first series.
At the very end of the trailer below, Netflix has also teased that there's a third season already in the pipeline, which will arrive in 2022.
Here's the dazzling 'Love, Death + Robots' Volume 2 trailer, which this time around will feature "otherworlds, naked giants and robots-gone-wild".
'Love, Death + Robots' Volume 2 will be available on Netflix on May 14.
