Netflix has released the first look at their intense new limited docuseries 'Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich'.
Executive produced by Joe Berlinger, who helped create the fantastic 'Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes', comes Netflix's newest docuseries aiming to shed light on the billionaire tycoon. As we can see from the trailer for the Jeffrey Epstein documentary, the man was accused of abusing women and underage girls for decades but was able to carry out cover-ups for his heinous crimes.
The four-part docuseries will follow the serial sex abuser from his early beginnings in the financial world right through to his eventual arrest in 2019. The man gained tremendous wealth and power while running an international sex trafficking ring, and he made a secret plea deal with the government in 2008 avoiding a potential life sentence and continued to abuse women. Many of these women will tell their harrowing stories throughout the docuseries, and as you can see, they are not remaining quiet any longer.
The Jeffrey Epstein documentary is Lisa Bryant’s directorial debut. In the past, she has produced a number of true-crime TV series such as 'Gone: The Forgotten Women of Ohio' and 'Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers'.
The chilling 'Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich' will land on Netflix Wednesday, May 27.
