Yikes.
Netflix have succumbed to the hands of the internet after one eagle-eyed user noticed that their recent classic addition to the streaming service has been tampered with. In the original coming-of-age movie from 1985, Anthony Michael Hall's character Brian Johnson is holding a marijuana joint in his hand - but Netflix have changed 'The Breakfast Club' poster to show him holding a pencil instead.
See below for the original reference compared to the new Netflix one.

However, Netflix using this poster instead of the original is probably not even their doing, as the poster could have most likely been used back in the '80s when the movie was released too. Or maybe they photoshopped it. Either way, the internet has spoken on the issue.
Here's how the internet has reacted to this replacement poster of the movie - spoiler alert: they haven't reacted very well. And it's in hilarious fashion.

I think what makes it funnier is that, at first glance, it's a pretty decent photoshop job lmao

Meanwhile, marijuana is legal in so many states recreationally. It’s much more acceptable now than back in the 80s and they felt the need to edit it for our time. I swear!
