Marvel series on Disney+ are proving to be increasingly popular.
'Loki' has now beaten both 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' and 'Wandavision' to become the biggest series debut on Disney Plus.
According to SambaTV (via Deadline), the show accumulated 2.5 million U.S. households views in its first five days.
These figures well surpass 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier's 1.8 million households and 'Wandavision's 1.6 million.
SambaTV also reports that the first day number of 'Loki' was a record for a Disney+ show as 890K U.S. households tuned in.
The premiere date of the series was Wednesday, June 9th.
This was an unusual move for Disney+ as previously, they'd premiered both 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' and 'Wandavision' on a Friday.
Deadline reports that with the mid-week release date for 'Loki' having proven so successful, the streaming service has decided to shift all original scripted, unscripted and animated series debuts to Wednesdays.
However, Disney+ Original Movies will continue to premiere on Fridays.
