For all of the leaks and tidbits of information leaking out, the trailer for 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' barely gives any clue as to what to expect from it.
All we're able to piece together is that it's set in the '80s, it's about videogames and you've got Will Poulter and Fionn Whitehead involved in it. Curiously, the trailer calls it 'A Netflix Event' as distinct from, say, 'A Netflix Movie'. Could this mean it's the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' thing people have harping on about for so long?
The synopsis, as well, is practically devoid of any kind of information on it as well. "In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back."
