The premiere of the filmed production of 'Hamilton' is just around the corner.
The play looks at the American revolution and invention of the US financial system, as seen through the eyes of ambitious politician and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.
The multi-award-winning Broadway musical arrives on Disney+ on July 3rd (the day before Independence Day).

The feature was produced using “live capture” and combines elements of live theatre, film, and streaming in an immersive cinematic stage performance.
Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June 2016, it features the original cast including Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; Tony Award nominees Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jonathan Groff as King George; Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton; and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip.
