Prepare yourselves, the unusual fantastical creativity of Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro is coming to Netflix as he has just signed on to create a new horror anthology series for the streaming service.
Called 10 Past Midnight, del Toro is set to write and direct select episodes of his 10-episode anthology series while he will choose who will head up the other ones.
Each episode is set to tell a new genre tale with the show being described as a horror spin-off of Black Mirror. Charlie Brooker's dystopian drama can be pretty terrifying as is so who knows what horror del Toro will have in store for us.
It will be similar to the TV show Alfred Hitchcock Presents back in the day and will be Netflix’s first horror anthology show and del Toro’s first live-action series. This is also the director's first major project since he won best director and best picture for The Shape of Water earlier this year
He will be joined by The Shape of Water producer J. Miles Dale and Gary Ungar of Exile Entertainment is set to be an executive producer on the project.
No word yet on when we can expect to see it but we will keep you posted.
