Netflix have shared brand new images of Mike Flanagan's upcoming project 'The Midnight Club'.
The show, from the creator of 'The Haunting of Hill House', 'The Haunting of Bly Manor' and 'Midnight Mass', follows a group of terminally ill youths in a hospice with links to the supernatural. Every night, the group meets up to tell creepy stories.
Created by Flanagan and Leah Fong, 'The Midnight Club' is based on a 1994 novel by Cristopher Pike.
The show stars Iman Benson, Adia, Igby Rigney, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Cymone, William Chris Sumpter, Sauriyan Sapkota and Irish actress Ruth Codd.
'Nightmare on Elm Street' actress Heather Langenkamp also stars as the doctor who runs the facility.
Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint, and Patricia Drake round out the show's recurring cast.
The first teaser for the show released in June as part of Netflix's Geeked Week. It gave us an introduction to each character as they creeped around the mysterious hospice.
The first season consists of ten episodes, with the first two directed by Flanagan. Subsequent episodes are directed by Axelle Carolyn, Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour, Michael Fimognari, Morgan Beggs, and Viet Nguyen.
Flanagan also serves as executive producer, alongside Fong, Pike, Trevor Macy, and Julia Bicknell.
As well as his Netflix back catalogue, Flanagan also directed films including 'Oculus', 'Hush', 'Gerald's Game', and 'Doctor Sleep'. Following 'The Midnight Club', the director will work on two new Netflix series, 'The Fall of the House of Usher' and 'Something is Killing the Children'.
Flanagan is also set to helm a feature adaptation of another Pike novel, 'The Season of Passage'.
