Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short and the rest of the cast will be back together nearly thirty years on from the first movie.
Make sure you've got your wedding gifts at the ready, as Netflix has planned a very special 'Father of the Bride' reunion for fans of the iconic '90s movies.
Spanning two movies, the franchise began in 1991, which was followed by its sequel 'Father of the Bride Part II' four years later. The comedy movies starred Steve Martin and Diane Keaton as the off-kilter parents of Kimberly Williams-Paisley's bride-to-be Annie Banks. George Newbern, B. D. Wong, Kieran Culkin all starred in the two movies, and of course, there was also Martin Short as Franck Eggelhoffer.
The Steve Martin-led movie was a remake of a 1950 original of the same name, starring Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Bennett and Spencer Tracy, which went on to become of the most profitable movies in Hollywood that year.
Here's the teaser Netflix released ahead of its reunion special this Friday, which reads: "25 years later, the Banks family returns for a very special event to benefit World Center Kitchen."
