Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for 'Enola Holmes'. 'Stranger Things' star Millie Bobby Brown plays the titular role.
Based on the book 'The Enola Holmes Mysteries' by Nancy Springer, the film follows the adventures of the younger sister of renowned detective Sherlock Holmes.
Inspired by her brother, Enola goes off to solve her own mysteries.
Henry Cavill plays Sherlock while Sam Claflin plays their brother Mycroft Holmes.
Helena Bonham Carter plays Mrs. Eudoria Holmes.
Jack Thorne, whose credits include 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' and 'His Dark Materials', wrote the screenplay. Emmy-winning 'Fleabag' director Harry Bradbeer helms the project.
As well as sharing the first footage for the upcoming film, Netflix revealed the release date for the movie.
Turns out it's very soon - Wednesday, September 23rd.
Previously there had been legal issues surrounding Springer's book and thus the film. But presumably this has all been resolved if the movie is coming soon.
Here's the teaser.
