Now that she's Kind of a Big Deal, it seems that young actress Emma Mackey is ready to move on to bigger and better roles.

The French-British actress has portrayed teenager Maeve Wiley in Netflix comedy series 'Sex Education' since 2019 - even earning a BAFTA nomination for her work - but it looks like the next season will be her last on the show.

Mackey made the announcement at last night's BAFTAs, where she took home the 'Rising Star' award.

In the press room, she was asked whether she'll be returning to Season 5 of 'Sex Education' when she laughed "Season 5? I've just finished the fourth one last week!"

The 27-year-old added: "No, I don't think I'll be in season 5. I've said goodbye to Maeve."

Having recently won plaudits for her portrayal of Emily Bronte in the 2022 film 'Emily', Mackey will next be seen in the forthcoming 'Barbie' film.
